1. Publication Decisions:
The decision regarding the publication of submitted articles rests with the editorial board, who operate under the journal's policies and adhere to legal standards concerning libel, copyright, and plagiarism. Reviewers' evaluations play a crucial role in guiding the board's decision-making.
2. Review of Manuscripts:
The editor of the journal ensures that every submitted manuscript undergoes an initial evaluation for originality using suitable software. Subsequently, the manuscript is sent for single-blind peer review to two reviewers, who provide recommendations on acceptance, rejection, or revisions. The entire review process typically spans up to 40 days.
3. Equality:
Editors, members of the editorial board, or reviewers are obligated to assess manuscripts based solely on their intellectual merit, disregarding factors such as race, gender, political beliefs, sexual orientation, ethnic background, citizenship status, or religious affiliation of the authors.
4. Confidentiality:
This structured approach ensures that the manuscript evaluation remains unbiased and respects the confidentiality of the authors while involving necessary stakeholders in the review process.
5. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest:
This principle ensures that confidentiality and respect for intellectual property are maintained in academic publishing, preventing unauthorized use of authors' unpublished work.

Peer reviewers play a crucial role in the academic publishing process by aiding the editorial board in evaluating manuscripts and making decisions on their publication suitability. They provide valuable feedback to authors through the open review process, helping them refine and enhance their papers.
2. Qualification of Reviewers:
It is the duty of any reviewer who feels inadequate to assess a manuscript or cannot conduct a timely review to inform the editor promptly and withdraw from the review process. This ensures that only competent reviewers evaluate submissions.
3. Promptness:
This process ensures that authors are informed promptly about the acceptance status of their submissions and receive initial feedback from reviewers within specified timeframes.
4. Confidentiality:
This ensures that manuscripts are rigorously evaluated through constructive criticism and objective feedback, contributing to their intellectual coherence.
5. Establishing Standards of Objectivity through Critical Discussion:
Reviews must be objective and constructive. Authors should transparently outline their criteria for evaluating their research's validity. Personal critiques of authors are discouraged, emphasizing instead clear, supportive feedback from referees to enhance the paper's quality through constructive dialogue.
6. Acknowledgment of Sources:
Reviewers must identify any relevant published work that the authors have not cited. They should ensure that references to others' ideas are properly cited to acknowledge the original source. Reviewers must also alert the editor to any significant similarities or overlaps between the manuscript under review and other published papers they are aware of, based on their personal knowledge.
7. Disclosure and Conflict of Interest:
It is imperative that information or ideas gathered during peer review are treated confidentially and used only with the consent of those involved in the review process. Reviewers must avoid evaluating manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist due to competitive, collaborative, or other relevant connections with the authors, affiliated companies, or institutions.
1. Reporting Standards:
Authors conducting original research have the responsibility to accurately document their work and provide an unbiased evaluation of its importance. This includes accurately representing all underlying data within their paper. To enable others to evaluate the validity of their findings, manuscripts should include comprehensive details and references. Authors are expected to submit raw data upon request for editorial review and should be prepared to make it publicly accessible. They are also obligated to retain this data for a minimum of two years after publication. Deliberate misrepresentation or inaccuracies are considered unethical behavior and are not tolerated.
2. Originality and Plagiarism:
Authors are obligated to ensure that their submissions are entirely original and to acknowledge and cite any sources appropriately. It is crucial to cite publications that have significantly influenced the reported work's direction and findings to maintain scholarly integrity. Plagiarism, whether through direct copying, paraphrasing without acknowledgment, or claiming others' research results, constitutes unethical behavior in academic publishing and is strictly prohibited.
3. Multiple Publication and Concurrent Publication:
Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously is considered unethical and violates publishing standards. Authors should ensure their submissions are original and not concurrently under review or published elsewhere. The retention of author rights and permissions under a CC-BY license facilitates broad use of published works while upholding ethical guidelines.
4. Authorship of the Paper:
This ethical guideline ensures that authorship is appropriately assigned based on substantial contributions to the research and that all authors are aware of and agree to their roles and the manuscript's content before submission.
5. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest:
Authors are required to openly declare any financial or other significant conflicts of interest that could potentially impact the outcomes or understanding of their manuscript. Additionally, all forms of financial backing for the research project must be fully disclosed.
6. Fundamental Errors in Published Works:
Authors or readers who identify substantial errors or inaccuracies in published work must inform the journal editor promptly. It is the responsibility of the author to collaborate with the editor to retract or rectify the paper as necessary.
7. Acknowledgment of Sources:
It is essential for authors to appropriately acknowledge the contributions of others by citing publications that have significantly influenced their research. This practice ensures transparency and gives credit to previous works that have shaped the reported study.
1. Handling of unethical publishing behavior:
When scientific misconduct such as fraudulent publication or plagiarism is alleged or proven, publishers and Editors-in-Chief work closely to address the issue promptly. This involves issuing corrections like errata or retracting the affected article if necessary. Publishers and editors also implement measures to prevent future misconduct, ensuring the integrity of published research.
